Structured Analytical Framework
Methodology
Alethexa applies a defined, transaction-level analytical model combining automated data aggregation, expert evaluation, and consistently applied risk-scoring criteria. Each engagement is structured to produce a defensible and traceable assessment prior to transaction execution.
Analytical Architecture
Layer 1 — Data Aggregation & Cross-Referencing
Automated systems retrieve and organize relevant sanctions data, corporate registry information, vessel histories, origin documentation, and transactional records. Multi-source corroboration reduces dependency on single-source representations and surfaces inconsistencies requiring escalation.
This layer supports efficiency but does not substitute for evaluation.
Layer 2 — Expert Evaluation & Contextual Testing
Each transaction is subjected to structured review assessing:
- Ownership coherence
- Economic and transactional logic
- Jurisdictional exposure
- Chain-of-custody continuity
- Documentation consistency
Automated findings are validated against contextual trade realities. Ambiguities and anomalies are examined through a defined interpretive framework rather than binary screening outputs.
Layer 3 — Structured Risk Scoring
Alethexa applies a defined and consistently applied scoring framework evaluating material risk vectors across sanctions exposure, counterparty structure, origin integrity, documentation sufficiency, and structural coherence.
Each scoring outcome includes:
- Defined criteria reference
- Narrative rationale
- Traceable linkage to underlying findings
- Residual risk articulation
Scoring does not serve as a substitute for judgment; it formalizes analytical reasoning into a documented structure suitable for review and governance.
Residual Risk & Materiality
Risk evaluation distinguishes between:
• Structural disqualification factors
• Escalated material flags
• Residual risk exposures
This approach avoids simplistic “pass / fail” determinations except where regulatory prohibition requires it. The objective is clarity of risk position rather than risk elimination.
Documentation Traceability
All material findings are traceable to documented sources. Review outputs maintain reference integrity to allow:
- Re-performance
- Internal review
- Legal scrutiny
- Financing diligence
Where applicable, document integrity controls are applied to preserve consistency between reviewed materials and issued reports.
Independence & Governance Position
Alethexa operates independently and does not participate in trading, brokerage, financing, or principal execution. Analytical outputs are not contingent upon transaction completion or commercial outcome.
